Its a debate raging within. Gone are those days when the same question used to be put in a very subtle manner. Then it used to begin in childhood with the question being, to be or not to be the best student in school?, the best footballer in class?, the guy who sits next to the cutest gal in college?..Life changed, priorities changed..and thus the question changed. People grew up..as they like to call themselves, they became mature. Now it was a more defining question so to say, to be or not to be married?, the person with the highest pay?, the person w
ith the costliest car? or the largest mansion?...if I may
add for the girls, the lady with the most precious diamond set eh? or for the few extreme cases the lady with the best sari at the wedding ! ;)
. It was a race then, a race against time race against people, a race against fellow beings. Darwin did quote the survival of the fittest. And excluding the waistline of a few people, the ideologically fittest people did indeed survive the trying times.
But what has the world come to today? Depressive manic disorders is not a new term, but when you get up in the morning and read that an 11 year old boy and a 12 year old girl have committed suicide, you do realise that the world is coming to a catastrophe. Why is turning into a race against oneself? That something is indeed going wrong. It would be inappropriate to comment if the recently released blockbuster was a cause of the event as speculated by our beloved Media or a mere coincidental reflection of the state of events. It did quite prominently bring to notice the 'pressure cooker' like conditions a tender child is subjected to. In fact it even put up some random statistics about the dire state of education in India which incoherently is leading to the mirthful existence. In this day when our honorable prime minister is quite concerned about the 'brain drain' phenomenon, I stand to wonder what measures are being taken to prevent the 'End Game' manoeuvre that is being resorted to by the very future of our state.
In the fond memory of those who quit, I would like to remind the ones fighting on, that life is too precious a gift to be let up because some random people feel that they can decide our fate. Like Rachel once randomly quoted, go full throttle. Power on! And like Phunsuk Wangdu made us realise, Chase excellence, success will follow suit! Dont chose the easy way out. Never ever let the question come to, To be or not to be 'alive' !

as i said, i am very loopy with my words . . so, i will keep it very simple and say that it is very refreshing! :)
